 On 4th February we will be organising a walk from the Roundhill over to the Tithe Barn at Englishcombe and back.  Meet by the Children's Play Area at 10.30am.

 We will be holding our Annual General Meeting at the YMCA at 8pm on Thursday 24th November.  All are welcome to attend.  We would particularly welcome anyone interested in joining the Friends of Roundhill committee.

Last November we planted around 100 small trees, a good number of which have survived.  This year we have the opportunity to replace those that didn't make it.

We need to finish off clearing the summer's growth around the trees we planted last year.  Meet at 10.30 on the field side at the bottom of the hill, close to the Whiteway Road hedgerow.  Please bring garden shears.

It's been very quiet here on the website and on the Events front over the past few months, but there have been a number of activities progressing unseen in the background.

Firstly we've been considering various options for interpretative signs to provide information about the Roundhill.  Joe has done some fantastic research on the history of the hill and the surrounding landscape - click the image to view the full detail.  We are working with the council to agree on the type of sign and arrange production and installation.

We had a successful Litter Pick on April 10th.  We found quite a lot less litter than last year.  Thanks to all those who took part.

The annual cross walk took place on Good Friday.

 We had a great evening last Friday with the Bath Astronomers, part of Herschel Society.
